Esther holds a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of the Cumberlands where she also studied abroad for her degree at the University of Oxford, UK. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Counseling and a Certificate as a Certified Addiction Treatment Counselor (CATC IV).Esther is co-owner & co-creator of Chapman House & Teensavers.
George H. Tucker, Ph.D., ABPP is a Clinical Psychologist with over forty years of experience in working with children, adolescents, and adults with problems in learning, development, or behavior. Dr. Tucker has written papers on the etiology and treatment of behavior problems, as well as on training issues in psychology. Dr. Tucker’s book, Problem Children: It’s Not Always the Parents’ Fault, has been praised by professionals and parents alike. He is in the process of writing a book on why he became a psychologist.
Joe joined Teensavers in the fall of 2019 as Clinical Director and Primary Therapist. He earned both his Master’s Degree in Counseling and his Bachelor’s Degree in Ethnic Studies (emphasis in Chicana/o Studies) from CSU Fullerton. His research and clinical work has focused on working with children, adolescents, teens, and their families. Joe is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT 116876) and a Registered Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC 7064) with the Board of Behavioral Sciences working under the supervision of Dr. George Tucker.
Berril is a Certified Administrator and the engine behind all Teensavers operations. Berril has been with Chapman House for over a decade and is a patient advocate and support person to the entire staff and its smooth operations.
Dan is a professional Interventionist and Certified Addictions Specialist with over 20 years experience. Dan has contributed to the entire therapeutic program at Teensavers. Dan is also a specialist in Opiate Detox, treatment and related disorders. As an Interventionist, Dan is 98% successful in convincing those who need help, yet refuse to accept it, to enter treatment despite their opposition.
