For over 40 years, Teensavers has been successfully treating behavioral health and addiction disorders. Our long-standing industry experience is a true testimony to our program. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
Every teen who comes into our facility undergoes a number of initial assessments to help us understand what they are struggling with and how severe their struggle may be. Using this information, we can help your teen chart a successful recovery through our substance abuse treatment options.
The reality is that most of the children who come to us are resistant to the idea of being treated, and they certainly don’t want to be in teen drug rehab. The focus of our initial contact with your teenager is helping them see that treatment is in their best interest, we are dedicated to helping them change, and that true recovery and healing is possible.
Our physician or nurse practitioner will evaluate your teen’s symptoms and make a determination if potential withdrawal symptoms can be managed with medication and medical oversight or if a hospital or medical facility is needed. Teensavers does not operate their own medical detox facility, but it does offer supervised inpatient care which will be appropriate for most young people.
Absolutely! We believe, for most young people, substance abuse is most likely a symptom of other challenges they have been trying to deal with on their own. We work with teenagers to help them uncover those underlying issues, and then work to resolve them. We also provide treatment for teens who do not have substance abuse issues but need a more intense level of help for emotional or behavioral issues.
Our rehab for teens is focused on the unique challenges your child may face. We work with each client and their loved ones to learn about their specific needs, triggers, and obstacles, and then develop behavioral therapy plans to address them. While most people who come to work with us are likely seeking similar outcomes (sobriety/abstinence from drug abuse), the path to get them there needs to address the unique set of circumstances that got them where they are today.
When your teen is admitted to our treatment center, all clients undergo an evaluation by a physician who decides what medications, if any, are necessary to manage symptoms. There are many safe and effective medications that can manage withdrawal symptoms and help promote sobriety. With parent/guardian approval, we also allow access to over-the-counter pain medication to be used as directed on the label.
